Once a medieval Deer Park, today it has a range of recreational facilities to offer including grasslands, picnic areas and woodlands. Rangers provide a varied programme of guided walks and events. The park also incorporates Mill Lakes - a 100-acre site consisting of grassland, woodland and attractive lakes with the River Leen passing through. The site forms a haven for birds and other wildlife and also has a network of routes for walkers and cyclists.
